As LFP has been continuing to grow both in content and traffic, I’m going to start routinely updating you on new additions and plans to the site.
If you ever have any ideas, comments or critiques, just comment on any post, and your thoughts will be read and responded to!
A New Addition
As you might have noticed, we’ve launched a small “mini-website” on short-term loans in the past.
Over the last few weeks, we almost created a website dealing with debt consolidation, and yet another website dealing with credit cards. The goal with both websites was to create an (almost) timeless guide to making the right decisions for debt and credit — no more than 30 articles on each website.
However, we’ve now decided to simply incorporate the two websites into LFP. We’ll be adding a specific “sub-website” for each of the topics.
Over the rest of spring and summer, we have topics like online banking (everything from savings to CDs to other topics) planned out, as well as budgeting, financial software, 15 ways to save money, “micr0-business” ideas and other topics.
New Article Series
We’ve already published a few articles in our Get out of Debt article series, but now we’ll be taking a systematic “1-2-3” approach that will focus on taking a step-by-step “tutorial” approach to the topic.
The articles/steps will be:
- Plan Your Debt-Free Journey
- Stop Adding to Your Debt
- Start an Emergency Fund
- Lower Your Interest Rates
- Start a Debt Snowball
You can read the new articles here.
What personal financial topics would you like to see discussed? If you have any great ideas, we’ll certainly write about them — even if it’s just your request.
Tell us in the comments. Thanks!
