People seriously just don’t know how to build links. I honestly can’t understand it, because it seems simple to me. Link building is the most important part of making money with a website — easy. If you have a website with 20-40 pages of content, then all you have to do is build links and you’ll make money.

It’s just… so simple. That most of the “make money online” gurus ignore link building in favor of getting traffic from “social media” sites is absurd, and, honestly, disgusting. They should know better.

Why Link Building is Important

Google is the main source of my traffic on all of my websites. Visitors type in a keyword on Google, like “make money online”, and my site comes up. The visitors then go onto my site and are actively looking for something. Because they’re actively looking for something, they’re more likely to subscribe to my blog, click my advertisements, and buy something.

Google traffic is the best traffic there is. What’s even cooler is that the traffic is steady… once you hit a thousand Google visitors per day, it stays at about a thousand Google visitors per day and doesn’t fluctuate too much.

Google traffic is also the closest one can get to getting a passive online income — it’s hands free. Once you rank for a keyword, you can stop working for a week, and your income will stay roughly the same. That’s just cool.

How to Get Google Traffic

Google ranks websites and webpages on the basis of how many quality links they have. The reason I rank for important keywords is because I have a lot of other website that link to my sites. A link is when you can click text and it will take you to another site… this is a link to this page.

The problem is in actually getting links to your site. Most “link building” resources are lame, and just don’t work. They’re based on hoping that the person who is using their link building tool is ignorant and doesn’t know how the search engines work.

Hey all,

A few months ago, I offered to build your website for a handful of readers. I built a website for about half a dozen people, and ended up having one slot left over. A few days ago, I received an email from someone who saw the offer on that page and is taking me up on the offer. That was supposed to be the last slot.

But honestly, if I’m going to set up another site, I might as well set up two in order to save me some time. The way I work, it’s easier and cheaper to set up two sites than it is to just set up one. So one subscriber to this site (or even a first time visitor) will have me personally help you:

a) Research a topic for your site
b) Plan out every single article for your site
b) Have my personal writing staff write your first 20 articles
c) Have the site organized, WordPress installed, etc
d) Have my personal marketing plan given to them — basically, I’ll show you how I rank in Google

Literally every day people contact me trying to figure out how I work full-time for myself before ever graduating college. To be honest, I’d love to be arrogant and pretend that it was all my doing, and that I’m some kind of self-made genius. But that wouldn’t be honest. There are two secrets to anything I’ve done or ever will do:

My Parents. My parents taught me from a young age that I can do anything I want to do. They’ve supported me every step of the way, and never pressured me to cave in and try to just find a “nice, comfortable job” working under anyone else. My parents are amazing, and I love them, and am extremely thankful.

This Book. In terms of business advice, everything else is based on a little book called The Four-Hour Workweek. It’s written by Tim Ferris, a young multi-millionaire entrepreneuer and investor who literally sits around making money while working only a couple of hours a week. His secret? I’m going to be blunt: There are no get rich quick schemes when it comes to learning how to make money online. It’s that simple. If you want to find a way to “get rich” quick, there’s nothing on this site for you. Sorry, but I have to be blunt about this.

That being said, of course there are thousands of people who earn substantial incomes online, including myself. Even though I am not good with computers, I’ve built dozens of websites and make money with them.

But I’m not alone — there are thousands upon thousands of people out there earning money from simple websites – but slapping up a website and expecting it to make money isn’t very realistic. You have to know what you’re doing. That’s what this page is about.

I’m going to tell you my journey to learning how to make money online, and exactly how you can replicate it for success. Sorry, no get rich quick scheme here. It’s going to take work. If this doesn’t scare you off, feel free to keep reading.

After running into so many people who were earning consistent – and legitimate – money through the websites that they run, I became determined to learn what their secret was. Update about my gold coins website

Hey all,

Hope this article find you doing well. Many of you have expressed interest in seeing me provide updates related to one of my newest websites dealing with gold coins. The website is doing well — much better than I was expecting to be doing at this point when I started.

I hadn’t originally planned on adding advertisements until July, but decided to go ahead and put AdSense on the site because the traffic was substantial — the site currently makes $15-20 per day. This isn’t much, but remember — this site is only 3 months old. It should be making $100-300 per day by the end of summer.

Right now, the monetization is almost exclusively AdSense. I will, however, be incorporating some affiliate programs and maybe chitika ads at some point this summer. I’ll also be redesigning the website and offer visitors the actual ability to buy gold coins directly from me once I get to the top 3 results for “gold coins”. This isn’t too far away — I’m already result 13 for “gold coins” and 25 for “buy gold coins.”

I got to the 13th result by simply following the world’s simplest action plan:

1) New Content. I try to add 1-2 articles to the site per day.
2) New Links. I try to add 5-25 links per day to the site.

It’s not a complicated model, to be honest. The link building is really tricky and people usually slip up there, but the concept is simple. Get content. Get links. Get paid. Not rocket science.

I’m still working on monetizing some of the pages as well, for example, how to tell if gold is real gets about 20 visitors per day and makes a few bucks per day. The article dealing with investing in a gold ETF isn’t making money now, but should make $10-20 per day by the end of the month.

Starting next month, I’m going to start uploading 3-4 articles per day, which is 100 articles per month. This might sound like a lot, but there’s no such thing as too much content as long as all the articles are well organized and there’s a strong link hierarchy on the site.

This is probably my most favorite project thus far. I’ll be working on building more links to the site in the future, such as to the buy gold coins page.

Hey guys, this is just a quick update. My website network is running super well, and I’m having an absolute blast. I’ve started some more websites and blogs on investing in gold, building biceps, consolidating debt as well as credit cards. I’m planning some more websites too.

For those interested in personal details, I’m right at the 6-figure in yearly income mark, so I’m super excited. This is an amazing time to be creating websites.

How I Make Money With Keyword Marketing

The above work from home job is what most people should try to do. It allows you to make money if you need it relatively quick. But if your goal is to build a full-time passive income, then this section of the page is for you.

This is what I do to work from home.

Chances are, you found this website using a search engine. That was no accident. I built this website in a special way that allows me to rank in the top results for keywords like “work from home” and “make money.” I then make money with advertisements and other techniques.

Anyone can build a website and have it rank in the top results for certain searches. It’s not rocket science. It’s called “keyword marketing” and you can learn the process for $1 at The Keyword Academy.

Here’s a quick overview of the process:

Step One: Research Keywords.

Think of a keyword. This is what your website will be about. Not all keywords are created equal, of course. Writing about “debt consolidation” is probably easier to make money with than “paperclips.”

Step Two: Build Your Website.

Build your website. You’ll need to get a host and domain. This is the most expensive thing you’ll be buying to build a website. This is the “store front” of your online business, so it’s incredibly cheap. It will cost less than $100 per year.

Step Three: Write Your Content.

Write all about the keyword you pick. Make your website cover the basics about the topic. Write tutorials, reviews — everything people might be looking for. Write no less than 30 articles and no more than 50. This should be enough.

Step Four: Make Money Online.

Making money online is relatively simple. Put AdSense and other advertisements on your website. This shouldn’t take much time. Most of your time will be focused on writing content and the next step.

Step Five: Rank On Google.

Ranking on Google is mostly about getting other websites to link to you. You can do this yourself by paying other websites or writing articles for them (they’ll link to you if you’ll write an article for them, often) or through literally thousands of other ways. I’ll be writing more about this in the future, so make sure to subscribe.
